Cam Suggestion

Hey All,

I'm going to be replacing a balancer and fixing a front cover leak in the near future. While I'm in that area working its been suggested that I replace the oil pump and possible timing chain on my wife's higher mile (153,000) 2000, automatic convertible.

I'm toying with a cam swap while I'm in there. Any suggestions? This is a good weather commuter for the wife, she would prefer a smooth idle, but I'd like to add some horsepower. Would an LS6 cam be a given or is a better grind out there? The car has 3.15 gears and stock converter.
