ERL not playing nice with my belts...

What am I missing here guys. I have my ERL short block back in the car and trying to get the AC belt on and it's tigher than a nats *** in the arctic... I have verified several times the belt is the proper 41" belt.

The block is a 5.3 with my stock accessories and the same ATI damper that was on the old motor.

The belt isn't even close to fitting, so is there anything with the block that would move the AC compressor out away from the damper?
