Technology Idiot audio question

I confess to being a technology dolt. I do have a flip phone paired to my car so I'm slowly getting dragged into to 21st century.

I have a the base audio system with two USB ports and a small round cable connector in the center console. What type of USB stick/flash drive do you recommend to put music on? How many GB would be good for approximately 500 songs? I will probably download from Spotify. Thanks.
