need help id of connector at driver side header (pic)

Had headers installed by another person. yesterday I was smelling something melting and found this. Do you know what this connector was or is for?
On drivers side of the car.

Having some ignition issues yesterday as the car was running rough. Found a bad spark plug wire but still did it after I changed the wires.
