Construction at the National Corvette Museum

We just got back from a 3,200 mile, 27-day motorhome trip. Along the way, we stopped for a night at a campground in Bowling Green near the NCM. There were several guys staying in RVs there with Union member signs. I was told they were working on the construction of a new Corvette plant.

Any ideas what they plan on building there? Could it be the elusive mid-engine Corvette?
