Synthetic motor oil with ZDDP?

I know old cars are supposed to have their oil changed frequently, but synthetic offers some new-school advantages. I would imagine you could at least DOUBLE the original time or miles between changes with no ill effects (filters have also been improved).

Like to hear some users experiences, recommendations and opinions.

But is ZDDP still required? Any synthetic oil have it? Or is it available separately?
