issue in reverse

Forum- i have a 2003 Z06 with 60,000 miles on it. approximately 1500 miles ago I changed the differential fluid with amsoil and added the amsoil additive. Lately I've been noticing a clunking sound whenever I'm in reverse and today it started doing it while moving forward. Is it possible I need to add more? I filled it until it started overflowing and then did figure eights and refilled.
