Another great man who helped save countless millions passes away without any fanfare

We just lost Dr. John Mclaughlin last week without much notice. While he was certainly an accomplished man with many attributes, he was not some movie or music celebrity. So his passing went largely unnoticed by the masses.

Now we have Dr. Donald Henderson who is credited with eradicating Small Pox (which killed countless people) who has passed away. Yet nary a peep is heard in comparison to the aforementioned "entertainers" who contribute far less to society.

Frankly, I just do not understand why some of the greatest people to have lived in modern times, practically die in anonymity.

RIP - Dr. Henderson
You are a far greater person than most know, and countless people were saved from and spared one of the most dreaded diseases known to man.
