So I did on what are the policies for a gun in the glove box since over the years i have heard all kinds of rumored combinations as far as loaded, unloaded, within or out of reach etc.
As far as here in Albuquerque, he told me my car is basically an extension of my house. Loaded is fine and in the glove-box or by my seat and such.
I have not been pulled over in at least 20 years. He did say something that makes sense is as soon as you see lights go on and you stop, get your wallet out right away and have it on the steering wheel ready and if you need the rest which is in the glove box where the gun is, don't do it until you tell him what else is inside.Just thought Iwould pass this bit of trivia along.
He mainly emphasized all the CCP holders, If you go for your wallet while he is at the window and sees your "piece" strapped to you, bad move which is why you need the wallet ready before he shows up
Well, I have the gun in the glovebox rule "down."
