Intercooler coolant tank mod?

recent threads describe how critical the exact coolant level is... Two 1.5" squares or the pump will suck in an air bubble and start cavitating. I understand the system must be suction filled.

Why not simply screw a fitting into the top of the small tank with a tube To a small bottle with a cap, above the highest level of the system. Then you could open the bottle and add or remove fluid leaving the desired amount of air for needed expansion. I guess a don't open while hot sticker would be in order and the possibility of scolding would still remain.

Voiding the GM warantee is a obvious concern for some.

If the existing tank is accessible , it seems like anyone could easily fabricate such mod. If someone make a kit available or gm adds this to the 2017..., that's even better.
Needing to go to a dealer to add a couple ounces of coolant does not seem right.
