How to uninstall/disconnect an after market alarm?

Ive got an after market alarm on my Ford and its preventing me from starting the car.

I found an on/off switch which leads to a "brain" of some sort.

Ive read about putting it into valet mode but maybe I'm not doing it properly because it didnt seem to work.

Any tips or guidance would be appreciated.
