Are Those Big East-Coast Corvette Dealers' Prices Real?

Looking to get into a C7 soon and have seen certain dealers with big $5K-$6K-$7K discounts on '16 models. Are they for real? Or is that advertising 'bait and switch' like so many dealers do?

Anybody have experience is buying from dealers like that?

I'm asking because some of those advertised prices are pretty close to what some used '14's and '15's are selling for. I already know about the difference between the 1LT, 2LT and 3LT packages...just wanna know if those big discounts are for real.
